Winery DOCG Chianti Colli Pisani
Winery DOCG Chianti Colli Pisani for sale close to Casciana Terme in Tuscany. The property comprises 7.7 hectares of land with about 5 hectares of vineyards, two buildings and an approved project for a new wine cellar. The main Tuscan country house with about 350 m², surrounded by vines and olive trees, is used as living quarters and wine cellar. The second house with about 100 m² is used as showroom and for storage. The about 5 hectares of own vineyards comprise 2 hectares in full production, 1.5 hectares of newly planted vineyards, which will reach full production in 2017, and 1.5 hectares to be renewed. The vines grow on terraced southwest and southeast facing hills. The soil is clay, but also partly sandy. The predominant grape variety is Sangiovese. Other cultivated grape varieties are Merlot, Colorino and Ciliegiolo. The estate's oldest vines are 50-60 years old. Additional 2 hectares of vineyards are leased, also in full production, and located in an adjacent valley with clay soil facing southwest. The French pattern used here has a density of 9,000 vines per hectare and produces high quality wines. Grape varieties are Sangiovese and Merlot. Therefore, about 4 hectares are in full production today (from 2017 about 5.5 hectares), which yield an annual production of about 30,000 bottles (from 2017 about 40,000 bottles). All grapes are handled manually and are pressed by hand.
